The most efficient use of BioGas (in a feasible situation) is to remove the non-combustible components such as CO2 and compress the gas for more efficient storage, transport and usage. The result is a gas that contains 98-99% methane and can be used as vehicle fuel or can replace the natural gas that households utilize. This option is generally only suitable for industrial scale operations.
